Blackbird Bakery – Herne Hill was a comprehensive refurbishment of the bakery, including building works, electrical and mechanical installations, and interior fit-out.

The existing interior was stripped back and renewed — walls and ceilings were made good, new lighting was installed throughout, and the space was reorganised around a new timber-clad serving counter, display cabinets and a dedicated bake-off area.

The finished bakery combines bright colours, wall panelling and herringbone flooring with comfortable bench seating, creating a welcoming neighbourhood café that works hard behind the counter.
